On behalf of the members and officers of our Local, I want to express our sincere appreciation to all of the sponsors of our 3rd Annual Golf Outing. Forty-eight golfers participated on a beautiful day.

I am pleased to report that we raised $1,549.00 for our Scholarship Fund. This is 40% more than last year. In June we presented twelve $750.00 scholarships to ten graduating seniors and two scholarships to students continuing in college or technical school.

At the dinner after the tournament, it was obvious that everyone enjoyed the day. One foursome of "dedicated players" lost over 80 balls in the woods but at the conclusion one of them remarked that it was the best "field trip" he had ever been on! During the dinner, we announced the first, second, and third place winners. We appreciate that many of you donated prizes for us to give away.

Once again, thank you for your participation and support and we hope you will continue that support next year.
