Committee Function:

• Assist units who want to become involved in elections in their local municipalities or school districts.
• Interview candidates who are seeking CSEA's endorsement.
• Making recommendations for candidate endorsements to the Region Political Action Committee. Only the Region Political Action Committee can grant CSEA endorsements of local candidates.
• Mobilize member support for critical issues by conducting phone banking and informational picketing.
• Lobbying state and local officials on critical issues.
• Conduct voter registration drives.
